Patience is a native New Englander from Connecticut who has worked and lived around the world. Prior to joining the firm in January, 2006, her practice focused on litigation and appeals for the United States Government. This took her everywhere from England to Plattsburgh, New York, and Washington, D.C., and many more places in between. She was also a Managing Attorney at a firm in Ithaca for several years, running a unit which screened and assigned all the legal case work for a statewide program.

Patience’s practice at Sheats & Bailey emphasizes commercial construction law and litigation, preparing construction cases for everything from mediation through full scale trial. She also practices in a wide array of other matters including payment bond and lien claims, surety litigation, prevailing rate wage claims with the New York Department of Labor and large public works claims.
